Problem:
I’m having issues with a Topdon Phoenix lite 3 diagnostic scanner. It says network issues but my ipad and phone are working fine. Trying to scan a rover and they require internet on them. Any suggestions?
Possible solution:
If your iPad and phone are working fine on the same WiFi, it could be a temporary server fluctuation or a communication issue between the device and the network.
A couple of things you can try:
1. Switch to a personal hotspot (using your phone’s mobile data) and see if the message still appears.
2. Go into the device settings and clear the cache, then restart the unit and try again.
3. Sometimes that refresh alone resolves it.
Do the same above if you have a network issue with other Phoenix series scanners.
FYI: Need to use USB cable and likely the DOIP cable if you are working on JLR.

I did a full reboot and clear cache and got it working again.
