Problem:
Connect the Topdon Rlink X3 interface to 2011 GM Corvette. Downloaded the GM driver/software and purchased the licenses through Techline connect.
Using SPS – I have been able to login, reprogram, and update all of the modules that I have needed.
When I try to launch Tech2Win – I am getting the following error message (E668561 MDI not found) when I select the TopDon in the VCI screen.
Has anyone managed to get Tech2Win to connect and work using the Rlink X3?
Possible solution:
A fix that has worked in most cases is to uninstall the GM driver after installing Tech2Win, then reinstall the GM driver again. Once that’s done, restart the PC and try launching Tech2Win again while selecting the TOPDON VCI.
User report:
I wasn’t able to find an “uninstall” tool for the Tech2Win driver folder – so I just deleted everything inside of it.
I also went to the C:\Windows\System32\ and found the .SYS file that above directory created.
I deleted that driver file.
I re-ran the install tool for Driver folder in the Tech2Win folder.
Rebooted.
Launched Tech2Win directly from my laptop (I did NOT log into AC Delco TDS/TLC) – found the Topdon device – and it worked!
Already reprogrammed my radio, and turned off the F55 magride!
