Background:
Some models of the VAG car series after 2020 are equipped with a security gateway (SFD). (Such as: Audi A3, Golf 8, ID4, ID5, Caddy, etc.). Functions such as code clearing/action testing/special functions cannot be performed without unlocking the security gateway)
Applied to Topdon Artidiag, Phoenix and ONE series scanners.
Method 1:
Use the original factory account to unlock online. Purchase VAG SGW unlocking annual license in Mall or from topdonshop.eu to unlock security gateway.

Method 2: Manually unlock.
(1) Enter the vehicle system and select the "Activate SFD (Vehicle Diagnostic Protection)" menu (as shown in Figure 1),
(2) Select the "Manually Unlock SFD" menu and save the read SFD data of the original vehicle on the device (as shown in Figure 2)
(3) Calculate SFD TOKEN or purchase SFD TOKEN (purchase link: https://www.vagupdate.com/sfd/sfd-token)
(4) Import the calculated SFD TOKEN file into the device and load it, and then activate the control unit (as shown in Figure 3)
