Problem:

I have a Topdon Phoenix Max diagnostic scanner and I’m trying to use the mdci pro on GM Techline Connect program. Nothing is showing up and it will not connect doesn’t anyone know to use it as a JBox?

Solution:

To use the MDCI Pro as a J2534 pass-thru device with Techline Connect, you’ll first need to install the correct J2534 driver on your computer.

Also update your MDCI pro j2534 box with the ethernet cable it will update on its own if you plug in power and internet cable.

We recommend use Rlink series for OEM programming.

NOTE: The drivers are spotty which is why IT IS NOT ADVERTISED or promoted as a j2534. If you visit TopDon.com you are most welcome to download the drivers and take a shot at it. But no guarantee which is why we no longer promote it as a j2534.

Topdon US team no longer supports the mdci as a current j2534. Need a Rlink J2534 to stay with topdon.
